When requested, we can also identify the protein interaction partners and interaction conditions. Typically, our Assay Grade proteins have purity of > 90%.

Solution NMR is a powerful method for characterizing protein motions over a wide range of time scales by the measurement of relaxation rates of the desired nuclei. Thus, solution NMR spectroscopy often relies on uniform enrichment of 13C and 15N for computational modeling of 3D protein structures.
Depending on the NMR experimental design, we produce proteins containing the desired isotope with desired specificity (e.g., unique residue labeling). These proteins undergo stringent quality control where the efficiency of isotope incorporation is determined by mass spectrometry.
Various assays, such as surface plasmon resonance (SPR), microscale thermophoresis (MST), flow cytometry or immunoassays, require conjugated proteins to assess protein-protein interactions. Importantly, the conjugation of biotin, fluorophore or other chemical entity to the protein may not affect protein structure or activity. Therefore, site-specific conjugations may be recommended. The free conjugates are removed and the conjugation rate determined by given analysis method.
Obtaining a labeled and unlabeled protein from the same source provides a unique advantage in assay development because the label is the only difference between the proteins.
